DCS has resolved the issue that affected Experian users, and full service has been restored.

Investigating - Hello,

We are aware of and investigating a problem with Experian where some users are experiencing errors when supplying correct passport or driving licence information.

Some users will therefore be unable to register and verify their identity using NI or UK driving licences or passports.

Experian and Verify are looking into this as a matter of urgency and we will update you as soon as we know more.

Investigating - We are aware of and investigating a problem with Barclays with the IDAP application being down. The issue seems to be affecting registration and authentications.

Barclays and Verify are looking into this as a matter of urgency and we will update you as soon as we know more.

During this time users of their service will be affected by up to 35 minutes downtime although the overall impact is expected to by minimal.

Investigating - Hello,

We are aware of and investigating a problem with the connection from GOV.UK Verify's Document Checking Service (DCS) to the Northern Ireland Driver and Vehicle Agency (NI DVA).

Users are currently unable to verify their identity using Northern Ireland driving licences.

We are looking into this as a matter of urgency and we will update you as soon as we know more.
